Mediation Training Program: The Art of Win-Win Negotiations

25 hours of MCLE credit available. This program is essential for professionals in law, business, psychology, human resources, insurance, real estate, and medicine--as well as all those who want to learn a short-term method to resolve disputes that can save time and money while maximizing goodwill and cooperation. Through manuals, lectures, experiential exercises, and role-playing, this intensive course teaches both the theory and practice of mediation. Topics include navigating through conflict, active listening, interest-based negotiations, six-stage mediation process, confidentiality, and constructing and writing settlement agreements. Students who complete this program receive a certificate of completion. All who participate are encouraged to attend the optional orientation on Wednesday, September 23.
